Hi there, wordsmith!
Welcome to Breath and Ink. I’m glad you’re here.
If you’re a writer, you already know how unpredictable this whole process can be. Writing doesn’t necessarily come with a clear map. You learn how to build a character, then run into plot structure. You figure out plot, then get stuck on finishing your manuscript. You finish a piece, then have no idea what to do with it next: publishing, editing and putting it in front of readers. Every stage brings a new problem you probably weren’t prepared for.
This blog is here to make that path clearer. The goal is to help you avoid the mistakes that are avoidable and get unstuck faster when you’re confused about what to do next. This includes fiction, non-fiction, poetry, publishing, marketing your work, and finding tools that make writing easier.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a beginner or you’ve been writing for years. Nobody ever becomes a perfect writer. You’re always learning something about the art of writing, and this blog meets you wherever those gaps are. You’ll also find a few things here you won’t come across on many other writing blogs.
Take your time looking around. Whatever you came here needing help with, I hope you find it, and I hope you feel at home while you’re here.
